Issey Miyake A Drop d’Issey Essentielle Eau de Parfum is a delicate and modern floral aquatic fragrance for women that captures the purity of nature in a soft, luminous composition. Launched in 2023, this scent reflects Issey Miyake’s iconic minimalist philosophy, focusing on clarity, freshness, and understated elegance. It is designed for women who enjoy light, clean fragrances that feel effortless and serene. Perfect for spring and summer, it is best worn during the day, where its airy and refreshing character can be fully appreciated.
The fragrance opens with a crisp and natural impression of green leaves, instantly evoking the sensation of freshly cut foliage and early morning dew. This opening is bright, green, and slightly watery, creating an immediate feeling of freshness that feels both calming and uplifting. It sets the stage for a fragrance that is rooted in nature and purity.
As the scent develops, the heart reveals a soft and elegant floral-aquatic blend. Aquatic notes introduce a cool, watery freshness that enhances the fragrance’s airy quality, while lilac adds a gentle, powdery floral sweetness. Together, these notes create a smooth and tranquil heart that feels light, feminine, and naturally graceful. The floral and aquatic elements blend seamlessly, giving the fragrance a serene and balanced character.
The base brings a soft and comforting finish that gently lingers on the skin. Magnolia adds a creamy, floral elegance with subtle citrus undertones, enhancing the fragrance’s softness and sophistication. Musk provides a clean, skin-like warmth that anchors the composition, ensuring a smooth and lasting dry-down without heaviness. The result is a fresh, delicate fragrance that remains close to the skin and evolves gently over time.

Issey Miyake A Drop d’Issey Essentielle Eau de Parfum is ideal for women who appreciate minimalist, nature-inspired fragrances with a soft and refreshing personality. Its light composition makes it perfect for everyday daytime wear in warmer seasons, offering a clean and calming scent that enhances rather than overwhelms.
How to apply:
Spray onto pulse points such as the wrists, neck, and behind the ears to allow the fragrance to develop naturally with body heat. Hold the bottle a few inches away from the skin for even application. For best results, apply to clean, moisturised skin after showering to enhance longevity. Avoid rubbing the fragrance into the skin, as this can alter its scent profile. Reapply lightly as desired throughout the day.
