Maison Francis Kurkdjian A La Rose Eau de Parfum 200ml

In 2014 niche perfumery house Maison Francis Kurkdjian launched A La Rose, a floral fragrance for women. Created by Francis Kurkdjian himself, the scent was originally launched for the Japanese market, before expanding. The scent was inspired by Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun's famous painting of Marie Antoinette with a Rose, and is built around two Rose notes, which make the heart if the fragrance. The scent opens with notes of Calabrian Bergamot and California Orange; before getting to the aforementioned Rose notes, which are a pairing of Damascus and Turkish roses, who are partnered with Violet and Magnolia. In the base of the scent are notes of Musk and Cedar. The notes combine for a smooth, delightful, soft Rose scent, ideal for the Spring and Summer time.
