Byredo Super Cedar Eau de Parfum 100ml Spray

Byredo Super Cedar Eau de Parfum is a minimalist yet deeply expressive woody fragrance that reimagines the warmth and texture of pencil shavings, polished wood, and clean skin. Built around simplicity and precision, it captures the elegance of raw materials elevated through modern perfumery. Created for both men and women by the Swedish niche house Byredo, this 2016 release is part of the brand’s signature aesthetic—clean, conceptual, and quietly impactful. Super Cedar is versatile enough to be worn all year round, though its airy woody structure makes it especially suited to daytime wear, where its understated sophistication can be fully appreciated. The fragrance opens with a delicate and unexpected note of rose. Rather than a heavy or traditionally romantic floral expression, the rose here is subtle, airy, and almost abstract. It introduces a soft brightness that gently lifts the composition, adding a touch of refinement without overshadowing the woody core. This minimalist floral opening sets the tone for a fragrance that is restrained yet highly evocative. At the heart of Super Cedar lies Virginian cedar, the defining material of the composition. Crisp, dry, and aromatic, the cedar note evokes the sensation of freshly sharpened wood and clean, structured spaces. It brings a linear clarity to the fragrance, forming its backbone and giving it a distinctly modern, almost architectural quality. This cedar is not heavy or resinous but rather bright and textured, allowing the fragrance to feel both grounded and airy at the same time. As the scent develops, it settles into a smooth base of Haitian vetiver and musk. Haitian vetiver introduces a green, slightly earthy smokiness that deepens the woody profile while maintaining elegance and restraint. Musk softens the composition further, adding a clean, skin-like warmth that enhances longevity and creates a subtle, intimate trail. The result is a dry-down that feels calm, polished, and effortlessly wearable. Byredo Super Cedar Eau de Parfum is ideal for those who appreciate modern woody fragrances with minimalist structure and a clean, refined aesthetic. It is understated yet memorable, offering a quiet confidence that lingers without overpowering. Top Notes: Rose Heart Notes: Virginian Cedar Base Notes: Haitian Vetiver, Musk How to Apply: Spray Byredo Super Cedar Eau de Parfum onto clean, dry skin, focusing on pulse points such as the wrists, neck, and behind the ears. These areas help the fragrance develop naturally and enhance its subtle projection. Avoid rubbing after application to preserve the clarity of its woody structure. For a lighter effect, mist into the air and walk through the scent. Reapply as desired throughout the day to maintain its clean, elegant, and softly woody presence.
