Funnel Neck Belted Wool Look Coat

Wool look fabric that insulates and holds its structure throughout the day - it skims the body with a soft drape and a cool handfeel rather than adding bulk. High funnel neck with a single button fastening at the collar, sitting close to the throat for wind protection without the stiffness of a traditional lapel. Self-tie belt sits at the natural waist, letting you define your silhouette or leave it loose for a more relaxed, oversized feel - two distinct looks from one coat. Maxi length with a front split that opens as you walk, giving the coat movement and making it easy to wear over wider-leg trousers without bunching. Broad, slightly dropped shoulders and wide sleeves create a deliberately oversized through the body - it's a coat that makes a statement by volume alone. The wool look fabric has a cool, smooth handfeel that sits neatly against the body without clinging - it moves well and doesn't crease on the commute or a full day out. The maxi length works particularly well over wide-leg jeans or tailored trousers, as seen here styled with dark wide-leg denim and black pointed heeled boots, with a structured tote to anchor the look. Tie the belt in a loose knot rather than a bow to keep the silhouette clean and the proportions balanced. The funnel neck means you can skip the scarf on colder days and still feel covered. This coat transitions easily from a weekend market run to a smart-casual dinner - throw it over a ribbed knit and straight-leg trousers and it reads polished without trying too hard. The front split is a practical detail that stops the length from feeling restrictive, making it just as wearable on the move as it is standing still.
