Melton & PU OFCL Varsity Jacket

Boxy silhouette sits wide across the shoulders and drops straight through the body - the kind of oversized cut that works with everything from wide-leg trousers to joggers without looking like it's trying too hard Two-material build pairs a Melton wool-look body with smooth PU sleeves - the contrast between the two panels is what makes this jacket instantly recognisable as a varsity piece Embroidered detailing adds texture and dimension to the chest and back, giving the jacket a hand-finished feel that stands apart from printed alternatives Ribbed collar, cuffs and hem keep the structure tight at the edges while the body stays relaxed - a detail that stops the boxy fit from reading as shapeless OFCL branding runs through the design, tying this into boohooMAN's sport-influenced line without leaning too heavily into athletic territory The contrast sleeve is the defining move here - it's the detail that anchors the whole jacket in varsity tradition while the boxy cut keeps it firmly in current streetwear territory. The weight of the Melton body means it holds its shape when worn open over a graphic tee, which is exactly how the model wears it, paired with straight-leg trousers and clean trainers. That combination works because the jacket carries enough visual weight to be the focal point without needing anything else to compete. For a sharper take, layer it over a fitted roll-neck and let the ribbed hem sit just above the waistband of some tailored joggers. The embroidery on the chest does the talking at close range, so keep the rest of the outfit clean and unfussy. This is a jacket built for weekends, late nights out with the group, or any occasion where showing up in something with a bit of craft to it matters.
