Layton is an amber floral, gender neutral fragrance launched in 2016 by Parfums de Marly. The fragrance was created by Hamid Merati-Kashani, who combined top notes of Apple, Lavender, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot with middle notes of Geranium, Violet and Jasmine, and base notes of Vanilla, Cardamom, Sandalwood, Pepper, Patchouli and Guaiac Wood. The fragrance opens with just a hint of Black Pepper, but it develops into a creamy Vanilla lead fragrance, that sees the Vanilla mixing with the Sandalwood, Lavender and Cardamom to create a truly wonderful scent. The fragrance is strong, long lasting, and rich, and suitable for almost any situation, making it a very wonderful and versatile one.
