Byzantium Saffron is a uni-sex fragrance from The Merchant of Venice, who launched it in 2013. The top notes of Byzantium Saffron are Saffron, Thyme, Black Pepper and Lemon; the middle notes are White Suede, Cedar, White Lily, Lilac and Rhubarb; whilst the base notes are Crystal Amber and Indonesian Patchouli Leaf. The fragrance is an exotic one with the Saffron and Suede notes being the standouts, with a smokey accord adding some mystery to the scent. It's a wonderfully opulent fragrance that develops over time and is warm and cosy, making it fantastic to wear in Autumn and Winter.
