When the POLICE brand was launched in Italy in 1983, it was one of the very first companies to turn sunglasses into a fashion statement. Throughout the 1980’s, these stylish and sophisticated sunglasses became famous worldwide. As the company grew, it quickly expanded its iconic eyewear brand into a popular range of fragrances, clothing and watches. POLICE Watches were launched in 2003 and quickly became a major component of the overall POLICE brand personality.
POLICE Mens PL-12087JS-02 TopGear Fashion WatchThe POLICE brand appeals to people with a strong sense of their own individuality. Part of the popularity of POLICE watches has always been the fantastic selection of styles that are available. Each POLICE watch makes a big statement. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for urban on-the-go sophistication or gritty street punk. No matter what you’re looking for, it is very likely there is a POLICE watch that will appeal to you own personal aesthetic.
For many years, familiar faces like Bruce Willis, George Clooney, David Beckham and Antonio Banderas have all been associated with the POLICE brand. These stars helped to put POLICE on the map. The company always knew that these well-known celebrities were never the real stars however. Their customers were.
POLICE WatchesIn 2010 POLICE launched a revolutionary new marketing campaign designed to recognize the special qualities that make someone a POLICE customer. The company announced they were looking from a fresh new face to step into the shoes of the famous people who had represented POLICE before and that person would become the new face of the brand. This ‘Be Younique’ competition was wildly popular and after thousands of entries had been evaluated, an unknown young man named Andrea Garbolino from the Italian town of Settimo Torinese was selected to launch the 2010 international advertising campaign.
An all-new ‘Be Younique’ competition is underway right now and anyone who buys a POLICE watch within the next twelve months will receive exclusive discounts, as well as an opportunity to win amazing prizes that include flying a fighter jet in Russia, partying in Rio and scuba diving in the Maldives. There are 12 different prizes corresponding to 12 different time zones.
